Established in 1996, Clarke Trades Inc. started out as a cabinet making business, owned and operated by Freeman Clarke. Today Atlantic Woodworking is a division of Clarke Trades Inc. This division is managed by Ron Clarke (Freeman’s brother) and specializes in Manufacturing Hardwood Staircases.

Ron has 25 years experience in the woodworking industry, and as been providing beautiful custom built staircases to residents of Newfoundland for the past 21 years.

Ron’s masterpieces have been placed in various locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, from new home construction to historic renovations.

We pride ourselves on building our customers product to their every specification. Every stairway is unique. Each stairway has distinctive features and is designed especially for our client, and their project at the present time.

In the last year we expanded our business to include a large selection of quality hardwood stair components.
